Introducing our new Gale Lumbar Pack. It is designed to be solely used as a lumbar pack for hiking in the field, and not as a sling bag or chest pack. It will be sold as a complete package with a waistbelt. We kept it clean and simple, without PALS webbing or a bunch of organization pockets. There is one full width front pocket on the front that is slightly dimensional, and a Velcro field on the inside of the front panel to add Velcro back organizer pockets if needed. It was not designed to add any pockets to the exterior, except for a Pod on the bottom, so there is no need for a harness. This makes it very low profile with nothing on your shoulders or against your upper back…definitely an advantage in hotter climates. There are upper and lower tension straps on the sides, along with our waistbelt that is contoured to wrap your iliac crest, that keeps the pack snug into your lumbar area, and becomes one with you! Simple and functional, with outstanding comfort, are what the Gale Pack was designed for!
